Early Winchester Thick Base Vernier Tang Sight

This is an early Winchester Mid-Rang Vernier Tang Sight with the thick base plate...often found on 1st Model Winchester 1873 and 1876 Deluxe Rifles. It's in good shape with no problems or damage. Brown overall with traces of blue. Spring inside the hollow base is intact and still locks the ladder in position when placed upright. This came to us from an estate of a friend who was a Winchester collector/dealer who specialized in Henry Rifles, 1866's, and early 1873's.
