This is a near pristine example of an early Model 1880 reloading tool in caliber 45-75. It's the First Type with the desirable spoon-shaped handles which were made for just a short time in the early 1880's. Retains 95% bright shiny original blue with just a bit of freckling mixing through the finish. Excellent markings w/ crisp 1880 patent date. Has the original pick for removing Berdan primers. No decapper pin. This tool would go nicely with a Model 1876 rifle or carbine in Fine to Excellent condition. A rare tool in exceptionally nice condition.
