This is an early 2nd Model, 1st Type Navy Revolver in .36 Caliber with early style ball-point loading lever latch and single safety notch on the back of cylinder.  All matching #'s.  Serial number is a late one for a 1st Type in the low 2000 range.  Overall, Grey brown metal overall with good markings.  50% original varnish on grips.  Great mechanics/good bore.
