Smith and Wesson No. 1 3rd Issue Revolver

Nice example of an early S&W tipup revolver.   Features include 7-shot cylinder in .22 caliber, blued finish, and rosewood grips.   This one is in NRA Antique Excellent condition retaining 95% original blue overall.   Strong case colors on hammer and ejector pin.   Rosewood grips have 80% original piano varnish.  Nice working action.   Barrel to frame lockup is nice and tight.   Bore is mint!   Hard to find with this much original finish.   A very strong example about half the price of what one just a shade better would bring.
