These were produced from 1860-1873 with 5" and 6" barrels in .32 rimfire. This one has the 6" barrel, rosewood grips, and blued finish. Overall, its turned mostly a dark brown patina with 30% original blue mixing through....a bit stronger on the frame. There are several areas of light scattered to moderate pitting from poor storage and small spots of uncleaned closet rust...this one definitely didn't receive ideal storage. The grips are in very good condition overall still retaining 65% original piano varnish. All markings are legible with S&W's 1855, 1859, and 1860 Patent dates. Hammer has traces of original case colors. Action works bore is fair+ but may clean to good. This is never going to be a gem, but it will clean up a lot better. Its also got a lot more blue than most NO. 2's you find in this price range.
