S&W Model No. 1, 2nd Issue Revolver...MINTY

This is one of the nicest First Model S&W's we've ever had. NRA Antique Excellent Plus Overall! Just incredible! Serial no. is in the 21,000 range. Early Civil War production! Barrel and cylinder retain 98% bright original blue. The silver plating on the frame is 99% and has tarnished over the past 150 years to nearly the same color as the blue on the barrel and cylinder. Completely Untouched and should be left that way! Action is Perfect. Nice bore. Original rosewood grips retain 95% original varnish with no chips, cracks, or breaks. This one is really getting up there on the condition and would not be easy to improve upon. I'll put it this way...we've had these still in their original boxes that weren't this nice!
