This is a very nice example of an early Smoot No. 1 revolver with solid recoil shield in Caliber .30 rimfire.  This one has the scarce early rosewood grips and nickel finish. Early style cylinder measures 13/16".  Overall, NRA Antique Excellent Plus Condition with 98% original nickel finish intact.  Hammer has 95% vivid case colors with some fire blue still on the screws.  Grips are excellent with 95%+ original varnish.  Excellent barrel address. Mechanically, everything works perfectly.  Bore is very good with strong rifling...still bright with a few light spots.  A very attractive Remington Smoot with lots of original finish and attractive early style wood grips.
