This is basically a smaller pocket pistol-sized version of the Remington Smoot Revolver made only two years from 1877-78. Caliber 38 Rimfire with 2 1/2" barrel, 5 shot cylinder, and birdshead grips.  Its in NRA Antique Excellent Plus condition retaining 97-98% original nickel plating with some minor scratching.  Not bad for being 129 years old! Excellent markings and knurlings throughout. Good screws. Hard rubber grips are Excellent overall with no chips or cracks, and nice checkering with slight wear only to the high spots.  Nice mechanices and aVery Good bore.  A very strong example.
