This is an original US Navy plywood gun rack for storing 6 model 1911A1 pistols aboard a ship.  The board has 3 leather holsters with tie down straps on each side.  Both sides are marked:

Overall condition is Excellent with all leather holsters intact including all the straps. No rips or tears  The brass screws and hardware have built up a green vertige from many years of storage.  This can be easily removed if desired (it will come right off by just rubbing it with your fingernail)...or simply left alone.  The plywood board is made of pine and remains in excellent shape still showing all of its original varnish and shows no de-lamination, chips, or repairs.  A must have for any 1911 Collector!
