Here is another extremely nice Mauser Model 1895 Chilean Contract Rifle that is virtually unused. Caliber 7mm x 57 complete with matching numbers, cleaning rod, and sling swivels. Receiver marked with Chilean Crest. Produced by Ludwig Loewe of Berlin, this is the same rifle used by the Dutch settlers of South Africa during the Boer Wars. Overall condition is NRA Antique Excellent+ to Minty condition with the metal retaining 98-99%+ overall blue with fire blued screws, bolt release, trigger, and magazine charger. Bright Excellent bore and perfect action. Wood is Excellent retaining all of its original finish with no chips, cracks, or repairs...just a few light dings and nicks from many decades of storage. Left side of the stock has a dated Chilean Crest Cartouche with production date of 1895.
