This is a scarce nickel plated civilian Model 1895 New Army Revolver. Caliber 38 Colt with 4 1/2" barrel. Serial number is in the 69,000 range which dates this revolver to the year 1896.  Overall, its in Mint Condition with 99.9% bright original nickel finish with fire blued appointments which include the trigger, top of the hammer, and screws. Perfect hard rubber grips with rampant Colt logo. Mint bore. Excellent mechanics. This gun is very possibly still unfired. For 109 years old, it still looks like a brand new gun.  They don't get any better than this!
