Colt 1892 DA Revolver

This is a Colt Commercial version of the Double Action New Army and Navy Revolver.   Standard 4 1/2" barrel in .38 Colt.   Antique Pre-1898.   SN# is in the 15,000 range.   Made in 1895.   This one has the rare "1892" marked hard rubber grips.   Usually, the grips just say Colt with the rampant colt horse logo but a few were marked with 1892 below the horse.   NRA Antique Excellent Condition with 97% bright and vivid original blue.  Wear is slight and confined mainly to extreme edges with some slight thinning on the backstrap.  Trigger, hammer face, screws, and pins still have most of their original vivid fire blue.   Excellent bore with nice Mechanics.  Hard rubber Grips are perfect.   A nice example of an early antique Colt Double Action with desirable "1892" marked Colt grips.
