This is a good set of original 3 piece Winchester cleaning rods w/brass tip for a pre-1892 manufactured Winchester 1866 or 1873 Saddle Ring Carbine.  These fit inside the buttstock via a brass trapdoor located on the buttplate.  Best of all, these are real...not clever reproductions that are scattered all over the collectors market.  Overall good condition. Each section measures correctly at just under 8".  Note: Rifle and musket rod sections are shorter at approx. 7".  These rods will fit in any Model 1866 carbine and any 1873 carbine buttstock chambered in 38-40 or 44-40 (32-20's did not come w/jointed rods).  Great set that would compliment your Winchester carbine!
