Civil War era Cap Box manufactured by W. Kiney & Co. of Newark New Jersey.  Kinsey's marking is located inside on the inner flap.  Double belt hook straps are intact and secured by copper rivets.  Overall, good condition with original stitching intact.  Leather is dark but pliable with some crazing along the surfaces and a couple spots of flaking along the edges of the box. No tears or pieces missing.  Would make a nice accessory to a Union Civil War rifle or musket.
