Nice example of a Model 1891 Mauser military rifle w/ original sling.  Caliber is 7.65.  All matching numbers (stock, frame, bolt, and barrel) except for cleaning rod.  This is one of the few Model 1891 Argentine Mausers that you will find still wearing its original Crest on the top of the frame.  Almost every one you see has had its Argentinian symbol ground off for some reason.  Overall condition is NRA Antique Excellent with 97% blue remaining on the metal.  Nice fire blue on the bolt release and barrel band spring.  Bolt still shows most of its bright polish.  Stock is in Fine+ condition w/some light handling marks  & complete w/original handguard.  No cracks, chips, or repairs. Fine++ to Excellent Bore w/strong rifling, still fairly bright with no pitting.  Complete with original sights and sling swivels. It would be a challenge to find a nicer example of a Model 1891 with its original receiver crest intact.
