This is a standard 3rd Model 1873 saddle ring carbine in 44-40 with an antique serial number in the 503,000 range.  This gun was originally shipped to the King of Siam, Rama V (aka Chulalongkorn) in 1896.  Over the years, its been in the collections of a few famous Winchester gurus including Hank Williams Jr.
