This is an original cylinder in .36 caliber for the Colt Model 1862 Police revolver.  Its in pretty rough shape but its all there and the original nipples are intact. Every once in a while, you find something like this that seems too unusual to go to waste sitting in the bottom of someone's drawer.  Hopefully, there is someone out there with a blown or missing cylinder who can use it.  If not, although a little small, it will still make a nice paperweight!  We sold an original cylinder for a rare Colt Ring trigger rifle about a year ago about like this one that we're sure is still doing a good job!
